Advent Calendar from TakeT: Day 7

Sorry, my Finnish knowledge is short about the name of this tea and I don’t feel it is correct (the color is correct, name as well, but why to speak about snout of someone?)

Anyway; definitely sounds interesting and they have also a black tea version of the same tea; saying it is Petteri’s Red Snout (Punakuono). But in fact, it is a pretty nice and straightforward green tea with creamy vanilla and hints of almonds. Not a prefered flavour profile, but it wasn’t bad, so… so what.

Odd thought here but could it have anything to do with Pinocchio? The words are very similar.

Martin Bednář

Interesting idea ashmanra, Finnish word for Pinocchio is Pinokkio But it could be play with words, somehow.

ashmanra

Oooh so Punakuonois the word that looked a bit like Pinocchio to me but that is the black tea version so I am probably totally off base there!

Martin Bednář

Well, it could be original and then with play with words they changed just the “color”.
