BB #6 for today – thanks MuppetLove

Thankfully the Hibiscus is the 3rd ingredient listed – which means isn’t not the primary flavor! Woot! The Rooibos is the strongest and most identifiable and it’s sweet but nothing awesomely memorable. The 2nd ingredient is White Tea. I honestly can’t taste it at all. Yes…the hibiscus is there and present but not obnoxious like many can be. I can pick out the blueberry more than the raspberry. I do like the fruits, here, I really wonder how it would have tasted with OUT the hibiscus and with noticeably more white tea!?

Overall this wasn’t bad. I’m sure it would be better iced.

I am super excited I got to try it tho! I certainly has potential!

gmathis

I can confirm. Good iced.

TeaEqualsBliss

I’m upping a tad moreso to iced version – I had a half of a cup cold and I did like it better cold than hot :)

I bought this one because it sounded interesting and very patriotic! (it’s a fun tea to have around July 4th, Memorial Day, etc.) The base is a rooibos and white tea with blueberry and raspberry leaves (I don’t know if raspberry leaves would taste like raspberry, but why not just have raspberry instead of the leaves?) First off, I can tell there might be stevia in the teabag, even if it isn’t listed in the ingredients, which I’m not too happy about. The steep color is red with a hint of the blueberry. I’m not sure about the blueberry scent. It smells good, but not too authentic. I think because it is a mixture of white and red teas, the white diminishes some of the sweetness of the red tea. It is a bit bitter. BUT I’m glad the hibiscus flavor isn’t too prominent. Not a bad tea from Stash!

Down to my last bag of this one! It’s an okay blend, but I doubt I’d purchase again unless I had a Fourth of July party…even then, I’d probably be the only one drinking it (my friends aren’t terribly into tea).

I picked up this tea because I like fruit teas, and this just looked interesting. The smell is.. off… it’s like blueberry and dirt. Or blueberry and old eggs. Or blueberry and something icky. The flavor is nice, with a slight aftertaste. Not something I’ll buy again, but not something I won’t drink.

Call me weird, but blueberries and dirt I can kind of get on board with. Probably because I like pu-erh. But blueberry and old eggs… Well, at least the taste is decent, right?

Jillian

Blueberry and EGGS?! 0_o

takgoti

What’s more, OLD eggs.

If you’d like to try some, I’d be happy to send you a few teabags. Maybe my nose is off.

Drank this for a late morning pick-me-up. It is really meh, but not unpleasant. It is a bit sour from the hibiscus, but I can taste some rooibos and definitely blueberry. I will finish my few bags of this, but will not order more.

This combination sounded interesting, so I decided to pick up a box. While the tea has a pleasurable taste, I found the dried Blueberry scent very oft-putting. It just doesn’t smell natural and kind of dampens your enjoyment of this blend.

I don’t even know, seriously. It’s not particularly icky, but there’s nothing special about it. It’s not nice enough to go back on my shopping list but I’m not going to chuck it out or anything.

Sort or fruity, sort of tart, sort of sweet. It is perfectly average in every way. The only thing I can say with any clarity is it’s a damn sight better with boiling water than it is with 90 degree water.
