From SpecialTeas

The Formosa Pouchong is an unusual tea that adds a wonderful taste dimension to any tea collection. As is typical of a good Pouchong, it shares commonalities with both Green and Oolong teas. Since it is only about 18% oxidized, Formosa Pouchong has the floral aroma and fruitiness of an Oolong and the lightness of a green tea. A very likeable tea that is highly recommended for both the tea novice and connisseur alike.

I would of liked it stronger. I used about 2 teaspoon for 6 oz. I wouldn’t buy it, but I’ll finish the bag.

An interesting tea that has the scent of a floral Oolong, but also has a mild woody green character on the tongue. It’s not really distinctive or robust, but it’s good if you’re not expecting it to give a stronger Oolong style experience.

I used a bit more leaf this time (4 heaping tsp in my 14 oz pot), and all 3 infusions came out pretty good. The last one here is a little lacking, but it’s not as weak as last time. Did the steeps at 2, 2 1/2, 3 minutes – water about 195-200.
