From SpecialTeas

The unique flavor blend of this delicious duo – acai fruit and juicy mango – will have you dancing with delight. The health benefits of the antioxidants are further enhanced by the addition of vitamin-rich rosehips, hibiscus, citrus and black currants.

Recommendations: Use 1 heaping tsp. per 6 oz. cup; heat fresh water to a roaring boil; let steep for 7-10 min.

Ingredients: Rosehip peels, hibiscus flowers, mango bits (mango, sugar), citrus peels, citrus slices, sweet blackberry leaves, black currants, flavoring, acai fruit powder (acai, maltodextrin)

Thanks to Brandy, I got to try a bit of this tea. I made a cup hot to sample now, and made a pitcher iced mixed with some gunpowder green to sample tonight.

This tea smells like fruit juice!!! It brews up a crimson red and has a tart taste of tart juicy red fruit (the acai?), a bit of orange and a sweet mango aftertaste. I’m really loving the taste of this tea:) I hope I can find another tea similar. It’s sad that I’m only trying specialteas now and they are gone:(

I used this up! I made this into an iced beverage. So refreshing with some tartness to it.

Also wanted to mention: the second cup/steep I made of this was like a jewel red scarlet color… the second steep! And so very fruity! This would be an excellent iced tea, and I also had the idea that it would be the perfect tea to make popsicles with. This is so sad that specialteas was bought out by Teavana. I recently tried the worst fruit teas ever from teavana and this one is so so good. Shame.

My favorite Teavana flavor is Overpriced Pistachio Disappointment. And it’s not even really that good.

This one has caught me completely by surprise. Love it!! Absolutely love it! All of the fruits blend together nicely for a mid-afternoon berry treat that will hopefully curve my 3pm sweet tooth craving.

This one is interesting… Full bodied, more like a juice than a tea. Lots of tartness, and it seems like the tiniest bit of saltiness (kind of like Sour Patch Kids candy). The primary flavor is very berry, but the mango comes through fairly strong in the finish and aftertaste. This is either a love it or hate it kind of tea. I’m pretty sure I love it. Prepared with stevia.
