From Simpson & Vail

Blue Mist Tea is a blend of Jackfruit (a fruit from India with an aroma of banana and pineapple), Apricot and Mango green teas that brews to a light, delicate green cup with a sweet, fresh fruit aroma and taste. It’s the perfect cup for summer days when the tastes and aromas of fresh fruit are so prevalent around us. Try it hot or iced!

Ingredients: Green tea, cornflower petals, marigold petals and flavoring.

certainly misty!
it’s so light, am i even holding this cup of tea? i think it’s floating away! wafting on the wind!
if i get too excited i may accidentally crush it’s wispy thin cup!
it’s such a delicate flavor that i needed to drink it with a fresh morning palate to really grasp the details.
a vegan pub here has bbq jackfruit sandwiches on the menu often. it’s mostly used because the texture is interestingly meaty for a fruit. its fruit is the largest tree-borne fruit that exists i think. basically it’s tropical and weird. maybe it’s like a really bland pineapple? not really. nevermind.
point is this tea is very subtle but definitely breezy and mangoey and barely even has that greenness. no dryness. no bitter notes. barely any even grassy notes. i’m feeling enthusiastic about this tea.
it’s like holding a baby kitten.
thank you moraiwe for this orchid of a tea.

This was from a teabox a WHILE back… finally getting around to a couple of older teabox teas! This was stored in a thin baggie so the flavor won’t be the best. It’s a light green tea with hints of fruit flavor – I can’t really distinguish the fruits though. Might be a generic fruit flavoring, or the flavor just isn’t the freshest. Not bad but a little boring! It’s gone now…
