From Shanti Tea

Deeply fragrant short-steep oolong from Fujian Province.

Shui Hsien (aka Shui Xian) is the darkest of the dark oolongs form Mount. Wuyi, the UNESCO World Heritage Site. A favourite of the Gong Fu style tea drinkers, this oolong is very strong and is best enjoyed on the second and third infusion. If steeped correctly, ther will be no bitterness in the taste of this oolong – only a sweet taste, some smoky notes, and a fragrant finish.

Smells very nutty and somewhat chocolate, rich and earthy. Flavour is mostly earthy and caramel, but even with over 2t leaf to 8 oz water, there wasn’t enough flavour overall to make me happy. Good, not great.
