I opened the package of this last night and I had this really strong scent memory of eating cheerios as a kid. This tea has that kind of dry, grainy smell of cheerios. Interesting and kind of weird.
Steeped, that carries over along with a lot of almond flavour, and some woody notes from the rooiboos (which might actually be part of the cheerios impression.)
I was wanting to add some milk and sugar to this, but I didn’t feel like interrupting the show I was watching, so I didn’t. But next cup I will definitely try it with stuff in it.
I’m going to hold off on rating it for now. I think I need another cup to put a number to this.
