Thanks very much, AJRimmer!  I wanted a cozy  tea yesterday, on hopefully one of the last colder days of the year.  This fit the idea of COZY wonderfully.   Hints of cinnamon, raisin, maybe some other fruit and sweetness.   The other fruit I’m noticing must be the dates!  And just sweet enough from the fudge pieces.  Perfectly cozy indeed.  Sadly, I oversteeped the second steep as I was distracted, but it tasted fine.  Not much of the nuance of the first steep – this time mostly cinnamon.  I like this one!  I would buy it.  I am WAY BEHIND on reading tasting notes…
Steep #1 // 1 1/2 teaspoons for full mug // 20 minutes after boiling // 2 minute steep
Steep #2 // 6 minutes after boiling // 10 min steep

AJRimmer

I’m glad you enjoyed this one! I’ll have to try it again and see if I can coax out some of those flavors you mention.

tea-sipper

Must have steeped it perfectly! (the first steep anyway)

This one turned out super thin. It mostly tastes appley with a tiny bit of spice. I absolutely love sticky toffee pudding, and this tea definitely didn’t come close in flavor. It tastes like a very weak cinnamon apple tea. Not bad, just boring. I added some milk toward the end of the cup, but the milk drowned out all other flavor. And this is my last tea from Pudtea! I hope they come back so I can buy more banofee pie, but I don’t need more of any of the others.

Latte Sipdown (208)

This week has been crazy hectic. I felt like I wanted a latte several times but just didn’t have it in me to make it. Yesterday I left the office late to go for dinner and finally have a drink after a long week…and I did…and then I returned to the office at 7 pm. Fun times.

However, I took today off and finally decided to make the latte. This caught my eye and it’s a Sipdown so yay! I topped it with chai sprinkles and am having it in my cozy fox mug for all the cozy fall vibes.

This tastes so familiar. I have no idea what it’s reminding me of. Not sticky toffee pudding but something sweet and cinnamony and very familiar. This is bugging me…

I want to like this one so badly because it’s got the hint of caramel, the raisin notes, and even a sort of baked/bready maltiness. However, it’s so thin in body and also just really oily and I can never quite get over those two things. It still produces a good cup of tea, but not quite what I feel like it could and should be.
