This ceremonial matcha begins with a smooth and savory flavor, but it later develops more of these warmer nutty notes. The tea has a thick, velvety mouthfeel to it that you may also notice in the Silver matcha from Chanoka. This tea is strong and heavy, yet smooth and drinkable. My hunch is I prefer a naturally sweet matcha to other varieties I have stocked. Lots of umami mid sip transitioning to a savory and lasting finish. Light vegetal notes and light astringency/bitter notes.
