Sipdown! (6 | 86)

This is fine, it’s a somewhat generic piña colada green tea. It tastes sweet and a bit creamy, like canned pineapple and coconut milk. The green base is mellow without a whole lot of flavor to it, but it does make a nice, slightly grassy base for flavoring.

I’m not a piña colada fan (I always want more pineapple!) so it’s not a favorite for me.

AJRimmer Advent Day 24

Finally drinking my last 2 advent teas today, as I’ve been with family (and away from my tea kettle!) over the weekend. Unfortunately, I somehow missed that this was a green tea and brewed it in boiling water. :( The base ended up quite bitter (totally my fault!) but I could still taste a nice juicy pineapple flavor and a bit of coconut.

The pineapple here is really juicy and fresh tasting. The coconut is quite fresh too. The steeping instructions said to steep for only one minute, which sounded a little short, so I steeped for ninety seconds. Perhaps I should have listened because the green tea is slightly harsh, but I just might not prefer this particular green tea regardless.
