From Mark T. Wendell

This semi-fermented tea has large curled leaves that are greenish-black in color. Grown in the Southern Mountains of China’s Fujian Province, this type of Oolong is often referred to as a Min Nan Oolong. This tea has a delicate flavor with a pleasing taste and lively bouquet.

This rating is based on the tastes from a drastically over-infused attempt and may be altered or edited later.

I mistakenly stepped away from my tea as it was infusing and infused for at least 15-20 minutes! Oye!!! I will say this holds up nicely and is VERY forgiving! It even good over steeped! It’s earthy yet sweet!

I tend to overinfuse often so I love (and tend to rely on) forgiving teas! :)

Great lower-priced oolong! Has a nice buttery caramel sweetness to it, with orchid notes. The roasted notes are not prominent at all and stay very smooth throughout. The tea is medium-bodied and has some mineral notes as well. Not my favorite, but nice to have it around once in a while.
