Delicious and different as a cold tea. I don’t think I’ve had a cold tea before that was in part rose flavored. I was rather expecting it to taste like a mouth full of perfume but was pleasantly surprised. While the other flavors aren’t individuated enough that I can pick them out in the cold version, but they tamp down the rose and keep it from being soapy.
If you want a peak of spring during a winter morning, this, my friend, is the tea for you. It shoves so many flowers in your mouth, you think you fell into a garden.
This is yet another tea I preferred iced. The florals made it sweet on its own. I always love Mariage Freres for the tea base they use. It’s a good strong black tea. Roses, violets, citrus..it’s a lot of flavor. It’s a little too intense to have all the time. It is nice for a cold winter day, though.

Officially on the last page of my cupboard! It seems odd that I’ve only ever logged this tea (#9) once. I enjoy the super bergamot, super floral aspects of it, although I guess I do prefer the added richness of chocolate and almond in DF’s Amore, which is otherwise very similar. Possibly one of the reasons I don’t reach for it is that it isn’t in a tin but stuffed in an old Teavivre bag, so I don’t think about it super often. I will have to figure out if I can shuffle some things and get it a tin.
