It took a long time to find a green tea that we actually enjoyed enough to add to our lineup. When your cabinet is filled with endless piles of white, oolong, puer, and black tea, it is rare to feel the desire to drink green tea.
Finally, we came across this green tea from Sichuan, China. This tea is a lot less savoury than many green teas, which is why we enjoy it. Instead, it could be described as leaning more floral, fresh, and creamy, with a nice sweetness. The taste of spring, not the sea.
This tea is not from any famous provenance, or made with flawless appearance in mind. In our view, it is very easy to spend lots of money for no reason on green tea from famous mountains and that looks pretty.
We feel this green tea represents excellent value for money for our normally puer obsessed preferences.
Produced in Spring 2018. Each purchase is for 50g of loose tea.
