Sipdown! (62 | 336)

Another mamaki tisane! I think I have one more left after this?

This was very similar to how I remember the other brand tasting, so it’s nice that it’s consistent. Very light and airy, almost reminding me a bit of a white tea? Some very soft hay notes, gentle grain flavors, a touch of milk and honey. It’s interesting because the aroma while it was steeping was quite herbaceous and grassy, but there’s no trace of that in the taste.

I find this sort of mellow herbal very relaxing before bed, so I’ve been enjoying these mamaki tisanes. The last one I have is a blend, so it’ll be interesting to see how the mamaki interacts with other ingredients.

I’ve been reading these Hawaiian tisane reviews with great interest—all of the herbs are new to me!
