From Fusion Teas

A simple everyday tea that simply satisfies. We start with a lovely floral china green tea base and sprinkle in hibiscus petals, just enough to perk it up. The tangy raspberry and brisk lemon give it character and is perfectly balanced.

Ingredients:Green tea with hibiscus, safflowers and natural lemon and raspberry flavor.

1.5 tsp @ 175 for 2-3 minutes

You know that cliche ‘a little dab will do ya’? Well…in this case…‘a little sprinkle WON’T Screw ya!’ LOL – It’s true folks! Fusion ONLY USED a sprinkle of Hibiscus! A completely acceptable amount for this flavored Green Tea and I LOVE that about it! It’s tangy raspberry and sprinkle of hibiscus work well together. The green tea base is sweet and fairly creamy. The lemon flavor is exquisite as well! YUM! Yup! A goodie HOT or COLD!

Invader Zim

You mean to tell me that there is someone out there that can control themselves when it comes to adding hibiscus?!

I can’t even imagine what a “sprinkle of hibiscus” would taste like.

Backlog:

I’m glad that the hibiscus here is added with a light hand. I didn’t even really notice the hibiscus except for the pale pink-ish hue to the brew. It didn’t impart a strong tart-y flavor, nor did it leave the liquid feeling thick or syrupy. Just pink. I like that. Thank you Fusion, for getting hibiscus right.

The green tea base is sweet, slightly creamy and earthy. The raspberry is sweet yet tart, and I guess the hibiscus does help to accentuate the tart in the raspberry, but it doesn’t hit me over the head with the obvious hibiscus flavor. It tastes more like … well, like raspberry.
