From Friday Afternoon

This blend is available 9/1-12/3 in our Autumn seasonal rotation!

This natural, savory alternative to the pumpkin spice latte is like slicing into a piece of punkin pie. For optimal creaminess, serve with a dash of cream and sugar.

Tea creators and proprietors do put their hearts in what they do, so it breaks mine a little when I can’t find anything nice to say about their blends. Unfortunately, this one just tasted like dirty sock to me. The pumpkin just made the roo taste “off,” and the cinnamon just didn’t blend.

I, too, found this one strange. :(

My sample was old, but unopened…age could’ve been a factor as well.

Another one from the Fall sampler.

Not loving this one. There’s a very earthy and woody quality to it, I assume from the rooibos. I don’t really taste pumpkin, unless that’s where the earthiness is coming from. The cinnamon tastes a bit like Red Hots – it’s not sweet, but it has that sharp cinnamon sort of flavor.

Doesn’t taste like pumpkin pie to me at all, mostly just sharp cinnamon and woody rooibos.
