I can’t say my score is truly fair. I just bought this tea when I got to work before heading to my desk. I steeped two bags in a quarter cup of water and added it to a cup of steamed unsweetened almond milk with a little honey. For now though the taste is wonderful and I do enjoy how the green tea adds a great noticeable flavor to the drink. If it holds up on its own as just the tea I have a feeling I will enjoy it in that way as well. Which is what I will be doing for lunch. So, this is to be continued………

I nabbed a teabag of this to try from my Gram’s house.   VERY tiny leaves of green tea in this teabag.  The dry scent is very vegetal.  The flavor is all (good) seaweed and veggies. The description says the source of the tea is Darjeeling, which seems unique for a green tea.  It isn’t the worst tea, but if I steep up a green tea, I’d rather it be a great one, like a green tea from Teavivre or similar.   I admire that they are trying to help farmers, but that might not be enough for my tastebuds.   I wish I had more to say about this one.  At least they are trying to Do Good.

Nothing special about this green tea – it’s not bad but it’s not top shelf either. Organic and fairtrade. Steeped a bag at approx 180 F for 3 minutes. Note based on multiple tastings. If you are just looking for a base green tea in the mornings that’s not fancy, but is sufficient this is it.
