Two of my advent teas today were lemony tisanes, so I decided the best thing for me would be to brew them in cupping sets as a side by side and just get them out of the way for the day. I’ve definitely really having it drilled into me that 7:30AM is not a good tasting time for me to process what I’m drinking because all I remember is thinking “This lemon is good – that lemon is not.” So, I guess I liked it!?
The leaves themselves were very beautiful though – lemon verbena always is, but after steeping these were such a particularly vibrant and lush shade of green. I was really transfixed by them. So, so brittle as dry leaf though.
