TeaTiff Traveling Tea Box | No. 32

This tastes like a cozy warmth. Yes I’m drinking it hot so it actually is warm, but it also feels warm. If that makes any sense. I can taste the smoke but it’s not overwhelming. Wish I was getting more of the marshmallow though. I would buy a bag of this, for sure. Thanks for adding to the TTB, Skysamurai!

TTB Review #29: I really wanted to like this one, I always have such high hopes for dessert teas, but sadly this one just missed the mark for me. I don’t taste coconut or marshmallow or really anything sweet. There’s an odd flavor that I can’t place (lapsang? souchong?). Overall I didn’t find this one enjoyable but I did finish my cup.

Used this for bubble tea and I think something in the bubble tea reads as floral which is conflicting with the smokiness of the lapsang. This is better than yesterday’s but still not great and it’s just a matter of finding the right tea for the flavour of the bubble tea packet.

Sipdown! (33 | 78)

Not really a fan of this one.

It’s mostly just a slightly coconutty lapsang. And I don’t really tend to buy or drink lapsang much anyway, but if I did I would want something higher quality and more flavorful. This is sort of the bland version of lapsang, and the coconut is making it oily without adding that much flavor.

So sort of just bland all around, I suppose.

This really tasted mostly like a lightly sweetened lapsang souchong – and when you look at the ingredients, that’s what it is (plus coconut). So it’s fine, but for a tea called toasty marshmallows I think I need a good dose of vanilla as well, and that’s missing for me.
