Iced Latte!
This afternoon is all about the matcha, with a delicious iced matcha latté made using this Okumidori cultivar matcha paired with some matcha cookies and a matcha truffle!! Even before adding the milk, this was an incredibly rich and milky tasting matcha with a fresh, sweet flavour very similar to devonshire cream. Smooth, with a bit of a “melt in your mouth” cooked milk flavour and nuttiness. The finish is a bit more umami, but ultimately I just really like this as a more dessert-leaning pure matcha profile. So well suited for lattés!!
