I had my final interview today with Staples and I am hoping all went well. It was earlier than I am used to waking up lately so I have myself some extra motivation by deciding that after the interview I would drop in at the bakery that sells this tasty tea. So, on my way home, I picked up a tin and brewed it up when I got back. Now I am sipping on this deliciously sweet rooibos treat. Yum! Glad to finally have it in my cupboard.

Staples?! Actual Staples?! OMG I LOVE STAPLES I COULD LIVE THERE.

VariaTEA

Haha. Yes, actual staples. I may be their newest employee :).

If you ever come to visit in Canada, I can just take you to work with me.

Anna

And then just leave me there forever.

That would be amazing.

Anna

(Fingers crossed!!!)

Sami Kelsh

You can do it! Fingers crossed!!!

A sample from VariaTEA! I’ve tried a few honey rooibos blends to date, and I’ve enjoyed pretty much all of them. Some more than others, it has to be said, but I’m pleased to say there’s not been a real dud so far. I’m encouraged by this one, because the dry leaf inside the bag smells very strongly of honey, and it’s not even touched water yet! I gave one bag 5 minutes in boiling water, and added a splash of milk.

To taste, this one has a strong initial hit of thick, syrupy, runny honey! It’s almost like drinking a cup of the real thing, only conveniently less sticky and viscous. The rooibos is fairly mild, and I think the milk helps with that a little bit. It’s very smooth and easy to drink, and the honey flavouring really shines.

This will probably be my last cup of the day at work, and it’s a good note to end on. The perfect sweet afternoon treat, and nicely calming and relaxing too. Sometimes I don’t realise how tense I am until I take a minute out, making teas like this a necessity. Yummy stuff!

sooo this was the other tea i had last night before passing out because i figured honey was good…and no caffeine was probably good. the best part about this tea was that it got me to my goal of 95 teas in July! woot woot!

i remember this being pretty tasty. not overly rooibos like but with a sweetness to it and at times an almost spicy note…but not really. not sure how to describe it. either way, this was a decent end cap to yesterday!

Final Count: 97 (surprise cavo teas!)

OMGsrsly

Yay! Go Sil go! :)

VariaTEA

95!! Congrats!! And I am glad my tea helped you get there :P

Sil

now… a month to get through 5 more..though i may make a stretch goal of 10 since september will be a bust for me..already back up to 97 lol

TeaLady441

I only sent two at least! And if you cold-steeo our surprise tea, I’m sure you’d get through it fairly soon! (So I don’t feel bad about it at all! Hahah). I think after getting through 80+ teas in one month, FIVE in another should be ok… Even if they’re 1 oz each or something like that.

Sil

it’ll be 5 to go down…but that’s in addition to the teas i buy. hahahaha. there’s 7 coming from teavivre, and i know i’ll be picking up at least 5 from tea gschewrwer…and there are 3 coming from verdant for the blends club haha
