From Celestial Seasonings

Spicy ginger and eye-opening lemon flavor combine to create a tea that’s calming and invigorating.

“This calming and uplifting blend combines spicy ginger – a potent botanical long adored for its piquant flavor and reputation as a digestive aid – with a cheerfully bright lemon aroma and taste from lemongrass, lemon verbena and natural lemon flavor. You might say that the pairing of lemon and ginger hits ‘just the right note’ anytime you need a soothing and rejuvenating cup of tea.“

Sipping this at 5:50am. It is sweet and makes me smile.
My tummy feels happy too. Just mixed in a packet of sweetener and a little clear agave nectar to make it a perfect sweet and spicy ratio. Delicious! :)

Smells very medicinal dry, like lemon cough drops. Steeped it smells like straight lemon, it tastes like cough drops, very meh.

I was inspired to buy this recently, although Celestial Seasonings can be kind of hit or miss for me. I really like ginger, lemongrass and lemon verbena. I knew I was taking a chance with rosehips, which I don’t really care for. This has a nice lemon-y and ginger-y element for sure, but is also really tart. It has citric acid in the ingredients list. Between that and the rosehips, the tartness is really overwhelming.

That’s too bad, because I really wanted to love this blend…. even with sweetener it’s a bit much for me. Perhaps I will bequeath this to the boyfriend if he is interested in taking it. ;)

This is still my favorite Lemon Ginger tea. I’m sure it wouldn’t be to everyone’s tastes as the lemon flavor is quite candy-like and the ginger isn’t especially prominent , but I love it. It’s one of my go to teas when I’m not feeling well.

Will have to try it out when I run out of Ginger Snappish between seasons.

That’s one I actually haven’t tried. I’ll have to pick some up sometime.

I love this for when my throat is itching, with a bit of honey. It’s got lots of ginger, so it’s got some punch to it.

I drink this frequently in the mornings (after my coffee) or before bedtime. I don’t add anything to it, because for me the lemon and the ginger are just fine the way they are. It’s pleasantly spicy and really warming.

I drink a lot of tea at work. This is one of my work teas. I like to have teas with ginger or mint at work just in case I have an uneasy stomach. It’s also a plus if those teas happen to taste good. The Jammin’ Lemon Ginger tea does just that. It has a wonderful lemon scent, even before brewing. The tea also has a very balanced taste. The ginger in other lemon ginger teas I’ve had has been overpowering. That’s not the case with this tea. I would recommend this to others and definitely try to keep it on hand, especially at work.
