I had this tea yesterday for the first time ever and did it really help me. I suffer from chronic asthma and it helped me like I was actually taking meds. I couldn’t believe it aI was in shock!! It helped me to breathe a little bit better and it did relax me and in about 30 minutes I was asleep. If you have upper respiratory problems I recommend that you try this. I wish you well.

7oz of boiling water to a clear glass tea mug. Steeped for 6 min as package recommended

Worth noting these are slightly out of date range but have been inspected and kept in a cool dry environment.

Quite an interesting brew, this one. It’s not something I would drink for pleasure alone but with seasonal allergies that have turned into lifelong sinus issues, one appreciates the notion of a health tea aimed to help with that very ailment.

As with most herbal teas I have had in the past, this blend has a light body with some unique characteristics. Alongside the general herbaciousness there comes a sweet anise flavor that coats the tongue and throat like maple syrup. The sweetness lingers on your palate. This leaves the feeling of light menthol as some others have picked up.

Even if it does not directly help sinuses like a shot of HCL spray might, it is a soothing and relaxing brew to have especially before bed to hydrate when you are feeling stuffy or just want a uniquely sweet way to wind down.

At first I was turned off by this sweetness but now that I anticipate it I can more fully wrap my head around it.

As far as medicinal teas go, the Celestial Seasonings blends work pretty well and don’t taste like punishments.

This allergy season has been atrocious. I don’t even HAVE allergies normally, but this season I apparently do. I enjoy tulsi and can safely identify all of the other ingredients in this tea, so even if it doesn’t help with the sinus irritation I’ve been dealing with for weeks now, it at least tastes familiar and is soothing to drink right before bed.

That sucks about the allergies. :(

This has been a rough year, allergy wise, for sure. I’ve been guzzling Nettles, spraying homeopathic stuff up my nose, & I have gotten relief, but there’s always some new pollen in the air…

It’s definitely been a sniffly spring. Still, I’ll take it over snow any day!

Again, when it comes to Celestial Seasonings, the teas tend to be pretty mild, so I usually combine one teabag of this “Sinus Soother” with a teabag of Bigelow’s “Mint Medley” tea. On its own, Sinus Soother is nice. There’s a taste of mint and menthol. I think it tastes best when you drink it as hot as possible (I noticed the heat helps more with sinus congestion too). However, I was somewhat disappointed in its taste (too mild).

I highly recommend brewing it with 1 tsp or 1 teabag of Bigelow’s “Mint Medley” for a stronger taste and stronger affect on the sinus congestion and/or headaches- it helps me a lot!
