From Čajový Dom

Shaded organically grown sencha from the Yame region, which produces the best teas in Fukuoka Prefecture. The leaves of this tea are collected exclusively from the shrubs of the Yamanoibuki cultivar, which is grown rarer. It has more intense umami and less bitterness, it excels in balance between smell, color and taste. Full round taste with a fresh grassy aroma with an intense umami taste and a long-lasting intense aftertaste.

This is quite a warming kabusecha with a very silky mouthfeel and medium body. The taste has a good balance and yet strong umami. Additionally it tastes sweet, floral with a cooling finish and a fresh, grassy aftertaste. There are flavours of bread, truffle, courgette, moss and cucumbers.
