I believe this is last I got from Izzy, so thank you!

I fell in love with Ayurveda Pura tea bags (the outer wrapping for new followers). They are so pretty. I think this one, or some other one? Was the impulse to start a swap with her.

Anyway, I am indeed interested, how saffron will be in tea and cardamom as well. Maybe bland as she said?

Anyway, tea bag; boiling water and 8 pm. And… 330 ml mug.
The brew is cloudy yellow with brown notes. It was quite aromatic, reminds me bit turmeric, but it is actually cinnamon with fennel probably?

After 6 minutes steeping taste is… herbal with hints of spices. Nothing special. Rather kind of watery. Now it is earthy as well.

Overall? It is interesting blend of herbs, but I would buy it again just because of wrapping.

The third tea from this company I’ve tried, I can’t say it’s better or worse than the others as they all taste pretty similar. This was the most pleasant, but also the most bland. The herbs and spices mixed together so well that it was impossible to really give any a name without looking at the label. There’s no dominant flavour to pull through, apart from a little anise-sweetness that I detected in the last few sips.

It does smell good though, it reminds me of samosas. The colour is beautiful thanks to the saffron too.

I’d recommend it if you asked me about trying it… but I definitely wouldn’t bring it up in conversation. It’s really not that good.

The name certainly sounds appealing! Too bad the flavour didn’t match.

Izzy

Yep, I think this one could have been great with a little more attention paid to the ratio of ingredients. It’s too equally balanced, it just doesn’t pop.

LuckyMe

I find fresh ground saffron and cardamom taste the best in tea. Samsoas are yummy, not sure I would want my tea to taste like it though lol
