From American Tea Room

Only the mellow and complex flavor on an oolong can make this blend the pleasure it is. Peach Oolong is a blend of two oolongs, a Ti Kwan Yin and Bao Zhong, that impart both a crispness and a smoothness, enhancing the the fruit-forward notes. The amount of actual dried peach in the loose tea is visually striking and brings the stone-fruit sweetness to the front. A light scattering of hibiscus petals provide the hint of tartness that rounds out the peach, as well as infusing the liquor with a grapefruit-pink pallor. Notes of warmed raspberries and toasted melon seeds blend on the palate, lingering in a particularly long finish. Brewed hot it’s warming and exceedingly comforting; brewed cold, it steals the show.

I’ve really enjoyed everything I’ve tried from them so far too!

I have very bad luck with flavored oolongs. And by bad luck I mean I don’t like them ever. So I continued torturing myself with this peach. It sounded good. The dry leaf smelled terrific. And I love ATR’s Immortal Green (peach green). But this didn’t do it for me. It tasted like a light peach herbal tea to me. Time to stop barking up this tree, as soon as I try their coconut oolong I also ordered.
