The flavoring here is way milder than I had hoped. It barely tastes like anything at all. If I’m really paying attention, I get some light ginger and maybe something cookie-ish. I wish they’d gone way bolder though. The second time I had this, it tasted like even less. I added some powdered ginger, but it still was very weak and sad.

Shae

Do you have a favorite gingerbread tea?

AJRimmer

I’ve been enjoying Twinings Gingerbread Joy lately!

Shae

Thank you! Looks like I have that one on my wishlist already, so I’ll be on the lookout. :)

Cameron B.

Harney & Sons Gingerbread Festival is my fave!

Shae

Oh thank you! That one sounds really nice.

Cameron B.

Only downside is it only comes in a tin of sachets, which feels really wasteful to me heh.

Shae

Is it available only during the holiday season? I feel like I need to hurry and grab up all these holiday teas!

Cameron B.

Harney has their regular holiday tea year-round, so I would assume this would be the same. Not sure though!

Shae

Good news for me and my paycheck!

Sipdown! (40 | 113)

I figured I should probably work on sipping down these little Adagio holiday mini-tins that I mostly bought because CUTE. This was randomly selected as the first to go.

Meh. Bland black tea with just a tiny bit of spice flavor. There’s not really much else to say about it… The base is somewhat earthy and woody.

But there are cute little gingerbread man sprinkles! :P

Tiffany :)

My cute gingerbread man sprinkle fix comes from DT’s gingerbread blondie.. :) Are you planning to reuse the tins for something or were pulled in by cute packaging?

Cameron B.

Mostly just the cuteness. I do reuse them for storing opened sample packets though. And cute sprinkles get me every time!

Evol Ving Ness

hahaha, you guys!

A few years ago, I had a student from China and we were selecting topics for upcoming research projects. He wanted to do his project on sprinkles. Cracked me up. He was fascinated by them.
