Samurai TTB #25

I tried this one just because it was AQTT and there was just one cup’s worth left in the box. However, with both rose and hibiscus in the ingredients list, I should have known better. This basically felt like chewing flower petals. Not a fan!

STTB Tea

This is a vegetal (bai mu dan?) white based tea with a subtle but not unpleasant base. It is lightly floral (rose) but that is quite subtle. I made this cold (450 mL water, ~25 minutes) and enjoyed it. The vegetal quality reminds me of cucumber and lettuce.

Flavors: Floral, Green, Rose, Vegetal

I drank this but barely have any recollection of it. Nothing wrong with it, but definitely not memorable, or at least the cup of it I had wasn’t! Will of course try it again while paying more attention.

Cold Brew Sipdown (1007)!

Adding the rest of this to the STTB, so not a “true” sipdown.

I’m happy I decided to make this cold brew last night – rose is a very comforting and soothing flavour to me and this blend is basically just rose and elderflower, so even chilled I find it really relaxing and soft. A good “self care” tea, and that’s what I need right in this moment. I decided to pass it along though because I have several similar blends in my cupboard and I thought this might help me declutter some similar profiles while sharing another AQ2T blend with others who may have missed the chance to try it.
