Oh my! Have I really never tealogged this tea?

The Chocolate Caramel black tea has been one of my faves so far from the 52teas chocolate sampler. It started out just sweet and vaguely chocolatey caramel-y. But over time, the flavors became more distinct and paired against the black tea base.

This cup was also my last of this tea. I had thought it might have the last portion of tea leaves too strong thing going on. But quite the opposite, even though I wasn’t short leaf for a single serving size. The cup was a bit weak. But still nice.

This tea gets a 73 rating (a solid good).

Would I buy this again? 3 (maybe)
It’s definitely good and I definitely enjoyed it. I wouldn’t go looking for it specifically again, but might dump it in an order. But 52teas is a mostly limited edition company and this one was from a sampler so it’s a bit moot.

Backlog:

I had this tea yesterday… here is my full-length review: http://sororiteasisters.com/2012/02/19/chocolate-caramel-from-52teas/

And that concludes my reviews of this Box of Chocolates sampler.

This tea has won the award for the best in the Box of Chocolates sampler. YUM!!! I love this one! This little sample of this tea was good enough to justify my purchase of the entire box. Yeah, I loved it that much.

This one sounds absolutely amazing! I hope Frank makes it available to all of us that didn’t get the whole chocolate box.

This has to be my favorite tea in the box of chocolates sampler box. The dry leaves smell chocolatey, with just a hint of sweetness. After brewing, you can definitely smell the caramel. The first sip was amazing. It reminds me of some of the more expensive chocolate-caramel confections I’ve had. The caramel is perfect, with that hint of burnt sugar flavor, and the chocolate is just right. I’m glad I made an enitire pot, because I couldn’t stop drinking it! Unfortunately, now I don’t have very much left anymore…. I would love to see this, as well as the Chocolate Raspberry honeybush, as a tea of the week!
