8 Tasting Notes

I love this tea-just had another cup, it is refreshing and you makes you feel like you have just had a cup of health! It especially tastes great in my new tea cup with strainer and lid! The leaves are a deep green and this is of course a first flush, which I could tell as I sipped away…

I have to say that I am not fond of this tea. I do love Black teas, but this Assam just tasted too grassy or wheaty or something like that-compared to a Rembeng-well in my opinion there is no comparison-but of course it is a matter of taste and preference-If I wanted to wake up in the morning or lift some depression I would not drink this tea ever…I actually only had it twice-and I just could not get into it again… hmm…

I just picked up this tea the other day and just had some now-I love the flavor of assam, it tastes medium to full bodied with a definite theine kick to it- I would love to go to India in a few years- going to see “Eat Pray Love” today can’t wait. Anyway-I ama purist at heart and in mind and soul-and that is why I am narrow minded and always stick with India and China Teas!!!! Have a wonderful day

This is an exceptional tasting tea in my opinion. I put about three level teaspoons in my unbleached cloth filter that sits inside the teapot-and poured boiling water over the leaves, which unfurled to create a rich honey tasting; strong and malty cup of tea. The leaves before brewed, I noticed, are green and black with golden buds throughout.
I love this black tea from China-it is wonderful for breakfast as well as with deserts!

This is great tea-I love England and love that it is Twinnings from London. I do prefer black teas to greens or whites, and this I love the robust strong aroma and flavor of this assam.
