I had this one as a take-away made in store, and was very happy with it! It smells so good, exactly like chocolate, and tasted like a hot chocolate milk with a mild hint of the chill peppers. It does not taste strongly of chai, but it was still a nice blend. I left the tea bag in and the longer it steeped the more prominent the chill taste became. I definitely want to buy some loose leaf to make at home, and also want to try it as a latte – I think it would taste like hot chocolate!

A nice blend, but a better latte. Drinking it as a straight tea (though with 2 tbsp milk and 1 tsp brown sugar) I found it to have a too watery taste. It is very sweet on its own and has nice tastes of caramel and spices and perhaps a sweet toffee taste as well. It has a layer of an oily substance on the top of it, but when mixed in the latte it is unnoticeable. The half water, half steamed milk takes away the watery taste, and compliments all the spices the blend has to offer. Although it is a little pricer than say David’s Tea ($11.50 for 50g) I think it may be worth it for a nice at-home pumpkin spice latte.
I would reccommend BUT only has a latte!

I was disappointed… am I missing something? After hearing lots of positive reviews for this blend, I was looking forward to trying it and let down. I found it to be a bit too watery, with the chocolate taste only occurring slightly in the aftertaste. It is also fairly sweet, so I would not add a lot of extra sugar. I think I will give this tea one more chance to see if there really is something I’m missing, however I will try it with 1.5tsp of looseleaf (instead of 1.25) to increase the flavour, and 1tbsp of milk instead of my usual 2.

I had to try this pumpkin flavoured tea as soon as I saw it was available! It has a nice, creamy smell and taste. The first time I made it too strong and bitter – definitely go with a shorter steeping time! I mixed with 2tbsp milk and 1tsp brown sugar, which blend nicely together. Although I cannot really taste the pumpkin, this tea has a nice mix of spices, carrot, and a creamy toffee-like taste. I will enjoy finishing of my bag of this tea, it has a nice fall feeling to it and would probably make a great latte.
