35 Tasting Notes
My absolute favorite of the Lupicia teas i’ve tried. An excellent fresh grapefruit taste with no bitterness, plus a hit of earthiness from the green tea. I bring an iced cup on my daily runs.
Flavors: Citrus, Grapefruit, Green
Preparation
My favorite of the David’s Teas i’ve tried. Yes, it’s slightly artificial… but it’s absolute excellence. Creamy, sweet, refreshing, a little tang from the lime… lovely iced and hot, and a definite repurchase for me.
Flavors: Cream, Lime, Vanilla
Preparation
My second favorite of the David’s Teas i’ve tried. The flavor is obviously very tropical and sweet, with heavy papaya and mango flavors. Excellent summer tea, another flavor I personally prefer iced over hot.
Flavors: Fruity, Mango, Tropical
Preparation
A bag of this came with the 2014 Lupicia happy bag, so I wasn’t sure what to expect when I brewed up a cup. The flavor is definitely cherry, but less of a black/jammy cherry and more of a white cherry. Very fresh and floral, borderline peachy when it’s iced. I recommend exclusively icing this tea, it’s very refreshing.
Flavors: Cherry, Floral, Fruity, Peach
Preparation
I should note beforehand that I traditionally use my Keurig to heat my water for tea, so YMMV depending on temperature.
I found a container of Blueberry Bundt at Whole Foods for 50% off, and as someone who loves blueberry tea, I had to try it out. The scent isn’t much, but once I started to drink the tea, I was in love.
The flavor is a sweet, natural blueberry with this amazing cakey flavor that isn’t necessarily vanilla, but tastes “baked”. It’s an excellent dessert tea, especially on a warm night.
Flavors: Blueberry, Cake, Caramel
