drank Maple Sugar by DAVIDsTEA
37 tasting notes

I bought this tea because it said “maple sugar”. Let me be clear – I cannot taste the maple or the sugar. Instead, it’s a very “apple pie” tasting tea, with strong notes of apple and cinnamon, and potentially licorice.

I think that I had oversteeped it in the past (approximately 5 minutes). Cutting down the steep time to 3 minutes helped, as did putting in less tea with more water. I will try cold-steeping it next, as that seems to work well for me with teas I don’t like drinking hot.

Flavors: Apple, Cinnamon

Preparation
Boiling 3 min, 0 sec 2 tsp 16 OZ / 473 ML

Through my obsession with mugs, I began my foray into teas when I added some tea into my basket to make free shipping.

I prefer my black teas with milk (and no sugar), and green teas straight up.
