I’m still figuring out whether I like this tea or not. I’m leaning more towards enjoying it, then not enjoying it. When I opened the package it smelled overwhelmingly of movie theater popcorn. While that’s not a bad thing, it was a much stronger smell then I was anticipating. I’m on my first steep now, and it has quite an overpowering taste. I hope that when I steep it again the flavor will itself mellow out. It took me a few minutes to figure out what exactly my first flavor impression was but, I finally put my finger on it, it reminds me of artichokes.

This is probably one of my favorite rose flavored teas ever. When you open the bag the scent of rose is overwhelming and it has large chunks of whole roses (petals and stem included). But once it’s steeped the rose flavoring is perfect. It MAY smell overwhelming but properly steeped and it’s perfect. It has just the perfect touch of vanilla to balance out the rose flavor. With a touch of milk and honey this is a great black tea.

This tea has a beautiful sweet and slightly seaweed-y smell to it that is addicting to inhale. It has an awesome sweet seaweed taste to it that’s light and refreshing as an afternoon ‘snack’. It brews a beautiful vibrant yellow/green cross that’s gorgeous to behold. While it’s unfortunate I can’t brew this tea more then once, it’s definitely a keeper.

This tea has a nice toasty seaweed taste that’s perfect as an afternoon splurge. It steeps a light yellow and has a pretty seaweed smell to it with flat pan roasted leaves. I haven’t tried re-steeping it yet since I’ve only had it twice. I’ll update my review later after I try steeping it for a second time.

I received 2 oz. of this tea for free after ordering several other teas from Tea Source and so far I’m relatively happy with it. While it doesn’t really smell like much in the bag (basically it just smells like generic black tea), it has a nice smooth taste that first time tea drinkers would enjoy. Even as a bit of an old hat with tea I still find drinking this tea enjoyable. I let it steep for about 10 minutes, since I like my black tea nice and strong and then doctored it with a little bit of local honey and lactaid. It stands up to the ‘milk and sugar’ very well and has a smooth robust flavor that sits surprisingly gently on the palate. When left to steep this long it comes out in a beautiful mahogany color that turns into a gorgeous tan when milk is applied. While it wouldn’t be my first choice for my early cuppa, it is perfect for those who don’t want a ‘blended’ tea first thing in the morning. Or for somebody new to tea.

At first I was a little overwhelmed by the scent of this tea since it reeks of maple syrup, but boy does it have amazing flavor! It’s rich and full bodied in your mouth with a delicious sweetness from the maple sugar pieces. It’s perfect to drink with breakfast in the morning or even as a midnight ‘snack’. Add a little milk to it and you have the perfect mixed black tea!

Amazing coconut white tea that’s not overwhelming in sweetness and has just the right amount of creamy coconut flavor. It’s a wonderful tea and I’d recommend it to anybody who’s a lover of white teas.

While not the most unique white tea I’ve ever had, it doesn’t change the fact that this tea is delicious and perfect for drinking right before bedtime. It has a beautiful delicate taste that all white teas should have and a gorgeous gentle scent. I was able to re-steep this tea 3 times without the flavor differing even in the slightest.
