This is absolutely one of my favorite green teas. It’s very forgiving if you oversteep. The lemongrass is not overpowering and it’s a very well-rounded tea and the spices are just pure harmony.

I brewed myself up a cup of this tea this morning and it’s way bitter today. I don’t know if I steeped it a second too long or what, but not enjoying it as much this time around. Will try again tomorrow and keep you posted, maybe a bad batch.

I’m in love with this tea. I purchased it on a whim from Door to Door Organics, where I get my local produce. The smell out of the bag is incredible. Roses. Steep it for basically as long as you want – it’s very forgiving and non bitter. This herbal tea has an interesting, complex taste that I’m assuming is the basil. I very much prefer the stevia leaf to the anise (bleh!) that is found in so many of today’s herbal teas. It’s sweet, but from someone who doesn’t put any sugar in her tea, it’s not offensive. I do wish the rose flavor was a little more robust. Sometimes the other flavors overwhelm it. I will try steeping for less time and see if that gives me the result I’m looking for. Try it! It’s awesome.

I almost forgot I had this tea – it’s delicate and lovely, light and pale, a little sweet and a little tangy. I think the taste is overall very mellow. If you like pungent teas, this might not be your cup, but I’m a huge fan.

My sister gave this to me for Christmas and I have to say, I’ve tried a lot of earl grey in my day, and I really really liked this. Make sure you stick to the brewing times – if you go over, the bitterness is not forgiving. I recommend 4 minutes. The 2nd brew IMO is the best. I love that I can get a 2nd use out of the same teabag. Not only is the packaging beautiful, but the tea itself is just as high quality. I find that the tea is a little overwhelming at the recommended steeping time. Otherwise, very good.

This was actually better than expected. To be fair, I’m not a fan of nutty or grassy teas and I did steep this a little bit too long, but I will definitely give credit where credit is due. Although slightly bitter, it is very forgiving and clean despite the error. I don’t really get the hint of pine or sandalwood though. Overall, it’s not bad.

I liked this, pretty delicate for a black tea without any bitterness. Other than that, it wasn’t mind-blowing, but definitely enjoyable.

Mighty leaf has excellent tea but recently I’ve been frustrated by their generic loose tea packaging. The only brewing instructions are found on the back under generic categories: black, oolong, white, green, herbal. For artisan blends where the title isn’t indicative of it’s content, you have to go to the website to figure it out. I chose to brew this one for about 6 mins at 200 degrees. I bought this tea originally to unwind at night… An alternative to a glass of wine. This is light and forgiving… Not bitter even when oversteeped. Slight peppering aroma and under toning the fragrant smell of roses. Delicate but refreshing… Makes me feel a little spoiled! Plus it’s beautiful to boot.
