I got a free sample of this herbal tea today (yay!) and decided to try it when I got back home. Upon opening the bag, the smell immediately reminded me of those green apple candies that fizz on your tongue, which is to say it smelled artificial. I also smelled the cream and vanilla a bit, but maybe it’s only because I read the package before opening it.
I used one full tsp, but I regret not using a little more because I ended up with barely colored apple water even if I waited the recommended time. From what I tasted, I’d say it tastes ok, better than the smell. You definitely taste the apple and it’s neither too sweet nor too acidic. I’ll wait for a cold day and try again with a bigger quantity.
