One of my favourite tea shops. The salesperson, who may possibly be the owner, is always the same guy when I go. He’s always happy to help by answering my questions and offering suggestions. I’ve never had a bad experience and the prices are reasonable compared to other tea shops that are closer to me. I enjoy this store quite a bit.
My first experience with this location was pretty decent. The sales associate (a young lady) was friendly enough, but didn’t seem to know much about the teas they had there, from what I could tell. I will be returning eventually to get more tea, we will see how that goes.
Lots of neat things packed into this little shop at the Quay in North Vancouver. However the person manning the store was not overly approachable nor interested in helping us so unfortunately we left without buying anything. Maybe he was just having a bad day but unfortunately it didn’t leave us with a good impression:(
The tea I have purchased here is very hit and miss. This has to do with the unfriendly attitude of the owner. He seems knowledgeable, but rather unwilling to share without being contemptuous, which has led to a quick exit on many occasions. Other staff seem nice enough, but do not make much of an attempt to engage with customers or promote any of their teas.
The tea itself ranges from nice to not worth mentioning and is a bit overpriced for the entire experience.
Overpriced. The owner seems incapable of waking up on the right side of the bed.
I travel over an hour to go to this place twice a year to stock up on my favorites! Love how quaint it is!
Good, friendly service and informative staff. I miss the location in Richmond, BC.
