132 Tasting Notes
flavour-wise, i wouldn’t drink this tea on a daily basis, but one of those teas i keep around for the benefits. tastes truly medicinal, but that’s alright with me right now.
mixed with some Ginger & Ginseng from Silk Road, it’s more tolerable.
overall pretty excellent for making me feel better!
Preparation
got this as a sample from my last online order from davidstea! i love the tiny sample tins.
anyway, doesn’t smell like much dry, but i get a very fragrant blueberry smell once steeped.
honestly, not much of a flavour at all aside from the white tea, which is very nice by the way.
but i dont have many white teas, so this is a nice addition for the time being, until my sampler runs out
Preparation
sometimes i want something fruity, but not too light, yet something cozy and warming, but not too heavy.
black tea with lemon! this is the perfect balance for me. plus, i am a fanatic of anything citrus flavoured/scented, so it was an instant winner.
one of my absolute favourites.
Preparation
i always have to give this one a good shake to mix up all the green tea, as it’s almost more of a fruit tea with all those nice bits of apple and pineapple. but it does work well, delicious lime/apple flavour, and yes, it does SMELL creamy! amazing.
Preparation
chocolate and black tea gives a bit of a coffee flavour for me, so this is what i drink when i get those rare coffee cravings. would probably be nice with a spash of creamy soy milk too.
the rose flavour does come through for me in the aftertaste, and strawberry top notes.
very nice chocolate tea :)
Preparation
first off, i over steeped :(
i got a sample of this one to see how it compares to The Earl’s Garden from David’s. smells like a nice, strong black tea with some tart overtones.
yep, nothing like The Earl’s Garden. fruity with a slight tartness, but not in a bad way. the black tea flavour is still very prominent. it tastes like something i’ve had before, like a tea my grandma would serve. not in a bad way, either.
not sure if i’ll get any more of this one. i’ll pay attention next time so i don’t over steep, maybe the fruit taste will shine a bit more.
