Just one of the best black teas. Nothing more to say. :)

This tea has more greenish than blackish look but the taste is definitely that of a black tea. It has a very soft note to it so it’s not your typical assam tea.

It’s supposed to be a black tea with qualities of himalayan and oolong teas. And it kind of looks like that too – semi brown, semi green, some oker color or something. It smells refreshing and taste somewhat interesting. It will not be on my in-love list, but it’s a good tea nonetheless.

The tea smells just amazing – like a sweet caramelly coffee, but in the taste there is only coffee and it’s like the perfect thing if you also like coffee. If you don’t and you’re only a tea lover then I would not recommend this tea to you. But to all of us who love both beverages, this is a really awesome tea!

The Marzipan aroma is too strong and the black tea has too much kick – I think they should have picked a softer tasting black tea like Assam for this aroma. Otherwise it smells absolutely fantastic and leaves a nice aftertaste.

After my first disappointment over this tea, I was contacted by the tea company and given new instructions. This time I was told I needed to double the amount of tea and drastically shorten the time to 30 sec for the first steep (actually second, first one needed to be rejected after 5 sec as they say).

I must say I’m quite surprised what I got from it – this is a COMPLETELY different tea, a completely different experience. What I’m drinking right now is quite honestly one of the best black teas I’ve ever tasted.

The best oolong I’ve ever had…have to experiment with the steep time but what I got from the 2nd steep (1st one rejected after 5sec as instructed by the tea company) blew me away. Never expected to like any non-black tea so much.

Not my cup of tea – quite literally :P I prefer stronger taste in my tea and this does not deliver. It would probably be interesting in the summer for ice tea…gotta try that then…

Second steep was very fun to look at while steeping – the “tea button” was opening slowly and it was interesting to watch how the colors were traveling from inside of it to the whole container. I’m not a big fan of pu-erh teas in general but this one tastes really really good.
