Strong smell of amaretto but also something else… vodka? treated wood? marascino cherry? Once brewed, I don’t get that strong smell any more, just a sweet smell of almond essence. It’s good, but I really think that this kind of flavour is best enjoyed with a tea that can withstand a warmer brewing temperature (in other words, black tea).

~ my mother tongue is French so excuse my mistakes ~

I’m a curious person, I always love to discover new things, new teas, new brands.

I’ve tried several things from David’s Tea as it is the most accessible tea store in Montréal and that there is no minimum amount when buying in bulk. I’ve also tried a few teas from Camellia Sinensis and Kusmi, but their minimum amount makes me try less things.

I would really like to try new brands, especially French brands such as Mariage Frères, Dammann Frères, le Palais des thés and Fauchon. There’s also a lovely tea store in Québec city called «Monsieur T» that I would like to try.
