56 Tasting Notes
My parents went on a trip through Europe where they got sick and drank cups and cups of this. They brought back a box for me and my mom raved about it. It’s less artificial/candy tasting than some apple teas I’ve had, but also a bit weak. I’m going to try brewing it with a third spoonful of tea next time.
This tea from Miro definitely has a strong longan flavor. It’s pretty bitter and astringent, although if you’d like it sweeter, it goes well with honey. An interesting fruit flavored tea that you don’t see very often. Definitely worth trying to see if you like it.
Preparation
Overwhelming cinnamon flavor (gum-esque) and the fruit flavor is not very distinctly plum-like. Adding sweetener to this was also a bad idea. If I’m going to have cinnamon tea, I’d rather have Stash’s apple cinnamon or Miro Tea’s cin gin mate. Giving this to Beth since she liked it.
Found a tiny baggy of this in the back of my drawer which is probably several years old. Somehow, it still tastes strongly of blackberry. I probably should have guessed that I’d find blackberry tea to be a bit unpleasant warm – I’m pretty particular about fruit flavored warm teas. This would probably be good cold during the summer.
This tea is dried organic lemongrass, pure and simple, which I suppose to some people would mean that it isn’t really tea. Whether it counts as tea or not, it’s excellent. The lemongrass has a strong, bright flavor, and the aroma is wonderful. Since it’s herbal, it also works well as a nighttime tea. Definitely one of my favorite herbal teas.
Oh no! I hope it was nothing serious.
Nah, I think they just had colds or something along those lines. Plus the tea apparently helped immensely.
