This was the first full size DAVIDsTEA I ever tasted. I picked this one out after they told me I could have any full size tea I wanted for free when I signed up for their rewards program. This one stood out to me as a very interesting smell, so I picked it for hot brew. I assumed they used 1 DAVIDsTEA Perfect Scoop, however I do not know the exact water temperature :-/ Unfortunately, I think I might be allergic to something in this tea as I think my throat felt like it closed every time I took a sip even though I thought it was quite delicious :-( I looked at all the ingredients in the tea and I think it might be the cardamom since I don’t think it’s rooibus itself because I had a small sample of the Buchu Superfruit before and didn’t have the same reaction.

Bio

Originally from New York, but now live in Boston :-P I have always liked random grocery store teas like Celestial Seasonings Sleepytime Tea and a few of their limited edition Christmas flavors that tasted like a sugar cookie and peppermint as well as some random Lipton and Bigelow teas. I also like white and green teas mixed with juice like Steaz Teas Organic Teas, Bai, and more recently Core Organic. And, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Matcha Lattes (with regular milk or vanilla almond milk). However, I feel like I have barely scratched the surface of the wonderful world of tea and even more so now…I need a new habit (rather than keep drinking addicting diet soda) as I continue to lose weight and strive to make eating healthy a true lifestyle change :-)

Note: I am only rating full cups (8 ounces or more) bc I feel like I can’t fairly say if it was just a sample (which many times was not even made by me)
