6 Tasting Notes
Has the aroma of Laphroiag or Talisker whisky with the smell of phenols, creosote and tar coming strongly through. If you like peaty whiskies you’ll love this taste but the aroma is even more incredible. If it tasted like it smelt it would probably be undrinakable but the taste though peaty has no bad aftertastes and is quite rich in texture. I thought I would try a cup and ended up having another straight after.

Preparation
I bought 3 of the Cru tins of Williamson tea including this one, Earl Grey with Blue Flowers and Zinga Black. Tried all 3 and they are all just very bland. I’ve ended pourig the tea out into one of my own blending tins and adding some stronger teas to get some taste! Smell great and the containers will be great for other loose leaf teas but they just come across as really really weak in flavour and body.
Preparation
The Winter Sunset sencha is a blend of sencha, pineapple, apple, cinnamon, ginger, aniseed, pepper and a hit of fennel. It was an OK tea, the flavour took a long time to come out but then again I had this from the seller: start first infusion with a temperature 75-80 degrees and then increase the temperature for subsequent infusions. With an infusion time of 24 minutes each time. I probably only left it 4 to 5 minutes but after so long I did notice I stopped taking out the infuser to try and get more flavour through.
Flavors: Sweet, Sweet, Warm Grass, Tea, Tropical
Preparation
The tea was lovely, almost syrupy texture and full of flavour. It arrived in a vacuum pack with just the words Oolong tea and on ebay described itself as quality Oolong tea. This tea really delievered on flavour and was very drinkable.
