A rich, not bitter tea. Somewhat smoky flavor that isn’t present when the tea is very hot. Not a very delicate flavor but it does go well with lightly flavored cookies.

I’ll admit I’m sort of new to teas, but this wasn’t too bad. There isn’t much to go on; it’s not particularly bitter but it isn’t particularly flavorful either as it’s a blend of teas. It’s pretty good with half-and-half and a little sugar, but then so are most things. When I tasted it without anything in it I thought “yep, it’s tea.” Nothing special, but again not bad either. A little malty.

Not a bad loose leaf tea, but I don’t know what kind of black tea it is or where it’s from. Tastes more like black currant than it does tea, but if that’s what you prefer then you might like this. Not bitter at all, and can probably be steeped a little longer than I did. I steeped it for four and a half minutes, but since it’s partially a fruit tea it might be able to go a little longer before getting too strong.

Tried it again, but with a different ratio of water to tea. I must’ve gotten it wrong last time because it was much less bitter and grainy this time around.

First of this kind of tea I’ve had so far, and I’m impressed. A little bitter for me though, but that doesn’t mean it’s bad.
