The sip down has come. I enjoyed this but I’ll admit that I wouldn’t get it again if it were to be reblended. A little too bitter and ginger root-y for my tastes. But I’ve enjoyed mixing it with the Red Leaf Pumpkin Pie black matcha.
A good one to sip on when it’s cold and rainy outside.

I loved the first blending of this chai. The reblend/rescue version was not quite as good as the first blending was. I don’t know why. It tasted less like gingerbread to me, and more just like a gingery chai. The first time I tried it (from 52Teas first 12 days of christmas box) it was absolutely amazing.

Oh weird, mine was the rescued version so that explains a lot. And that’s just it. For me, there’s a huge difference between gingerbread and ginger root. Perhaps Frank had a component issue and had to tweak the formula is order to make a reblend happen.
