20 Tasting Notes

I really enjoy this tea! A solid black tea with nice citrus notes. Great with honey! I like it in the afternoons, but I had it as my morning tea today. I feel energized and ready to take on the day! I wouldn’t add milk, personally, because of the citrus. Tastes great iced as well. I made a pitcher of this the other week. I’m planning on making another pitcher this weekend and throwing in some orange slices!

I just ran out of this tea, and I’m going to have to go pick up more. It’s perfect for the gloomy mornings I’ve been having. It’s sweet and amazing with a little bit of milk and sugar. Perks me up so I can make it to lunch.

I’m not usually a fan of sweet teas, as you can probably tell from some of my other reviews, but I really like this one. It’s like hot chocolate and puerh tea had a delicious chocolatey tea baby.

I wanted to try this tea to help with stress (and because I was really curious about catnip in tea). It’s an okay herbal. I prefer it with honey. It’s relaxing, but (sadly) it doesn’t help me sleep.

I drank this tea a lot as a kid. Brings back some really good memories.

This is the first tea from Supple Skin Boutique that I’ve tried. I was drawn in by the name (I love a nice lemony tea), and I figured that it’s liver-detoxing properties couldn’t hurt after college.

I’m a bit disappointed with how little lemon I taste. It’s a very solid black tea, and I do like that, but I’m barely picking up on any of the lemon. For a lemonade tea, I find it lacking. I will keep trying it though, and maybe I’ll warm up to it more.

I really enjoyed this tea. It’s a very light tea; it smells a good deal more tart than it actually is. I love this tea with a little bit of honey. It’s a great green if you like fruit tea with a bit of a caffeine kick and not as sweet as a lot of fruit teas tend to be. Be careful when steeping it though! The flavors get a bit off if you over-steep it, and I definitely don’t think it tastes as good as it normally does then.

As I mentioned before, the smell can be a bit intense. I want to say it’s almost like sweet tarts. But the taste is definitely milder. A great afternoon tea.

I did not enjoy this tea. I don’t like the way the earl grey flavor tasted with the rooibos. It was cloyingly sweet which did not go well with the floral tones. Maybe rooibos isn’t my thing.

I really enjoyed this tea! It’s my favorite flavored green from Adagio so far. I’m huge fan of pomegranate, and the taste was nicely subtle. It’s not a very sweet tea, so I do recommend adding some honey if you like your tea sweeter. It was very light. I’m definitely in the mood for spring now!

This is another pretty sweet tea. I haven’t tried many rooibos teas, and I just got the rooibos sampler from Adagio. I’d had this particular one recommended to me by a friend, so I started out with it. It does have a very pleasant vanilla taste, and it smells delicious. I wish I hadn’t added honey to it, but I wanted to see how it tasted with it. If you add a sweetener, I wouldn’t recommend adding much. It’s a very comforting tea.
