I thought I was out of this tea, but found a sample bag of it. Steeped 4 min (usually I do 3) It came out smelling very chocolaty, with a nice robust flavor.

Brewed it a bit lighter today. Still has that distinctive keemun aroma but also a hint of citrus.

This came in a sampler I’ve been working my way through, and is probably not from this years harvest. I managed to over steep this cup, so I’ll put off sharing my opinion on it.

Drinking it from a tea thermos again. I just top it up once in a while, and I have continuous tea for a couple hours.

I’ve grown to really enjoy using this in my tea thermos.

Good stuff.

Summer fun is ending, so it’s back to sipping and making notes about it. This tastes of citrus with some woodiness to it. The little bit I have left is older than is ideal, but still good.

I’m steeping this a little longer than normal, but it’s still tasty without being astringent. Good stuff.

I brewed a cup of this and some Special Grade that Justin (http://jushag.steepster.com) let me have, just to compare. The Imperial had a denser aroma and possibly a slightly richer flavor, but one could hardly tell. Justin said he couldn’t detect any difference, but he’s usually full of pu’.

After trying a variety of young green puerh, I thought I might not like this first one I tried as much as I once did. I’ve found that I still enjoy it’s lemony, vegetal and somewhat astringent taste.
