I’m running out of my breakfast tea! I have to pick up more.

Sipping from a ceramic cup this morning instead of my usual travel mug. Brought water to a boil, took off heat, removed kettle lid for two minutes, then poured water over leaf. Slightly bitter, but in a pleasant way.

I’m glad to find a semi-local place to get this!

Just a drop of milk to soften the edges.

Having this with breakfast. A little brisk to wake the senses.

I really like the strong flavour of this tea. It reminds me of coffee, although I’m not a coffee drinker (my coffee drinking hubbie says it tastes nothing like coffee). Best with sugar and a good amount of milk. Don’t steep for too long.

My favourite standard black tea, lots of flavour, plenty of oomph. Not a good choice for hard water areas (they also make a hard water blend) or people who like weak tea. (I have to add two or three bags of Tetley’s/PG tips just to get my tea strong enough.)

hm, I’m getting a bit sick of this tea. Over steeping by just 20 seconds makes me twitch.

I just set up my computer in my new house. Have been moving in the last few days so has been extremely stressful. Nice cup of Black tea to relax, good solid tea!

A simple British ‘cuppa’ – strong, bright, restorative.

Simply, the most aromatic, fresh and perfect tasting Earl Grey tea I have ever come across. I bought this in bulk from a tiny shop in downtown Haworth, England (home to the Brontes). I am rationing it strictly for fear of running out. I have no idea where I can get more and I live across the sea and about 3000 miles away from where I bought this.

First day in Switzerland with Cara after not seeing her for almost six months. It feels like a day at a coffee shop with her back when we were in high school. The tea is from her friend who lives in England. Swiss flag cup (nothing could be better.)
