It smells amazing and it’s tasty too. The peppermint is the strongest flavor of the four ingredients, but it’s not an overwhelming flavor. It doesn’t taste mouthwash-y, instead, there is a lovely, sweet peppermint note that plays well with the notes of lavender, rose and white tea.
The lavender is quite subtle here. I didn’t have to strain myself to notice it or anything, it was strong enough to be tasted, but, it didn’t give off a soapy taste. The same is true of the rose, and together these offered more of a “floral presence” rather than strong, distinctive, individual notes.
The white peony is delicate and has a sweet, light, crisp flavor. Overall, a really delightful cup. Here’s my full-length review: http://sororiteasisters.com/2014/03/27/organic-love-white-tea-spicely-organics/

Read my full-length review of this tisane here: http://sororiteasisters.com/2014/03/19/organic-unwind-tulsi-tisane-spicely-organics/
A fairly simple ingredient list, but out of the simplicity comes a very tasty tisane.
Strong cinnamon notes, but not like a sweet, red-hot candy cinnamon, nor does it taste too spicy. In my original review of this tea, I write that it’s more like the cinnamon you’d sprinkle on your toast or over your oatmeal.
The tulsi is basil-like, and while basil and cinnamon are two flavors from my spice cabinet that I wouldn’t think of mixing together, it works. Sweet yet savory: warm, zingy and pleasant.
The rose offers a nice floral undertone. A very nice, calming blend.
I picked this tea up after my acupuncture appt. today at the Spicely store on Market Street. They have some unique blends and I don’t think I’ve ever had a blended kukicha before so I thought I would give this one a try.
Instructions say to steep this at 180 f for 2 minutes. This is the roasted kukicha and I definitely think this could be steeped at a much hotter temperature. It’s a light mix of green tea, orange and fennel and it’s pleasant for the afternoon I am having. I ended up doing a second steep with boiling water and it seemed fine that way. This is a very pleasant cuppa though it isn’t destined to be a huge favorite of mine.
It looks like I am going back to work on Monday part time! I hope I manage to survive it. I am still not sleeping very much… :(

Very tasty! As some of you are probably very aware, I don’t usually get excited over Pu-erh (the opposite, usually I put off trying a Pu-erh, which really isn’t fair that I do that, because I do usually like the tea, but my initial reaction comes from my first few experiences with Pu-erh which were not favorable.) But this is a pretty good blend. I love the combination of vanilla cinnamon and chocolate.
The earthy qualities of the puerh really complement the chocolate and the cinnamon nicely, and the vanilla gives it a nice, creamy taste. I wish the stevia wasn’t in it, but that’s really my only big complaint about this blend.
A very well-crafted blend: I highly recommend it.

I really, really liked this. I didn’t know quite what to expect from it … I mean, I love Jasmine as some of you are probably aware, and I LOVE chocolate (I’ve never really made any secret of my chocoholicism have I?) But these were two flavors that I wasn’t too sure about combining.
But it works! And I think it works because of the Hojicha base. The roasty-toasty, nutty flavors of the hojicha meld beautifully with both the jasmine and the chocolate notes. The jasmine here is subtle, it is more of a background note, but it does add some interest and dimension to the cup.
Here’s my full-length review: http://sororiteasisters.com/2014/02/25/organic-jasmine-cacao-green-tea-from-spicely-organics/ This one is so interesting and different … if you’re one who appreciates those kinds of teas – you really should try this one!

Yay! Earl Grey!
I love Earl Grey tea. I love bergamot … and this is a really good Earl Grey!
The bergamot is strong but not soapy. It tastes bright and tangy, and there is a nice floral note that works its way through the sip. The black tea base is present, it doesn’t get overpowered by the bergamot, there is a nice balance between black tea flavor and bergamot. The black tea has notes of earth and even wisps of smoke in the distance. It’s a very flavorful black tea base.
I really like this Earl Grey. I love that it’s organic. Here’s my full-length review: http://sororiteasisters.com/2014/02/16/organic-earl-grey-tea-from-spicely-organics/
