Saved the best for last ha ha. This is definitely my favorite blend from Mulberry Creek. Woodsy but light, with such a nice combination of bright berry notes, crisp and earthy cedar, and woody honeybush.
Just really well-balanced and perfect for autumn or fall. I see a larger bag in my future… :P
Flavors: Autumn Leaf Pile, Berry, Cedar, Crisp, Dry Leaves, Elderberry, Evergreen, Forest Floor, Herbaceous, Sweet, Tart, Woody

Wasn’t sure what to expect with this one, I’m not sure I’ve ever had a tea with chaga in it. But mostly I taste the roasty chicory along with cocoa and cinnamon, so either it has a very mild flavor or there’s not enough for me to notice it. There is a certain earthy quality in the background, but that’s probably the chicory as well.
It’s a nice chocolaty herbal with a touch of cinnamon. The first time I tried it, I steeped it for 5 minute and I noticed quite a bit of bitterness, I assume from the chicory. But as long as I keep the steep shorter, around 3 minutes, there’s barely a hint of a bitter note.
I like it, but not sure if I love it enough to warrant ordering a larger pouch. We’ll see if I find myself wanting a chocolaty cuppa in the evenings this fall and winter.
Flavors: Chicory, Cinnamon, Cocoa, Dark Chocolate, Earthy, Honey, Roasted, Sweet, Toasty

I think this tea wins for having the most ingredients, ha ha…
It has a pleasant herbal flavor to it – sweet and mellow, with hints of evergreen from the cedar, spruce, and fir tips, and a subtle touch of fruit from the elderberry, hawthorn, and sumac berries. Not sure if that’s the nettle leaf that’s making up the majority of the flavor? It’s enjoyable and soothing to drink, yet also feels very nourishing at the same time.
I’m not sure if I love it enough to order a larger pouch, I would like perhaps just a tad more from those pine and berry notes. I do have another, somewhat similar blend to try still, so we’ll see how that one compares.

A nice, mellow herbal chai with hints of fruit. It has a gentle natural sweetness and I’m enjoying the balance of the spices – ginger and allspice at the forefront followed by clove and cinnamon. The honeybush and chicory provide a woody, slightly toasty base.
Very pleasant on this fall evening. I don’t think I would reorder it, just because I’m not a huge clove fan and there’s slightly too much of it here for my liking. But it’s nice to have a chai without added flavors, after having a few with lately.

I quite enjoyed this one. It has a nice balance of woody rooibos with those earthy rooty flavors and spices. Ginger and cardamom stand out to me, which is ideal since those tend to be my favorites of the chai spices. Nicely grounding earthy notes from the chicory root. And I really appreciate that it doesn’t have added flavors, as I prefer my chai that way. Spice and cinnamon flavors are always so over the top to me.
Very enjoyable, and of course perfect for fall. Would consider ordering some of this one once (if ever) my cupboard gets more under control. :P

Pleasant enough minty tisane with a nice balance of sweet spearmint with other mellow herby flavors. Particularly liking the oatstraw, but I could do without the licorice root. Luckily it’s quite subdued, but I can still taste a touch of that mouth-coating sweetness.
Also, I don’t understand the butterfly pea flower craze. I guess maybe it makes sense for iced drinks, but why would I want to drink something that looks like mouthwash? XD

The first of many teas from another Etsy company I found. There has been far too much tea buying for me lately, heh heh… But work has been very stressful, so I’m not going to worry about indulging in a little retail therapy. :P
Anyway, this wasn’t one I was super duper interested in, really I only added it to reach the free shipping threshold. But I do love yerba maté, which is mostly what this blend tastes like. I do taste hints of citrus, along with some other herby notes I can’t necessarily identify. There’s a bit of the tulsi as well.
Very pleasant and balanced maté blend. Not something I would reorder, just because I think I would rather have either a plain maté or a blend that’s a bit less subtle on the other ingredients.
Flavors: Citrus, Dry Grass, Earthy, Hay, Herbaceous, Musty, Smooth, Sweet, Tulsi

Kelmishka: I’m going to use that if you don’t mind…HAHAHAHA! (I may have ordered a refill for a tea that is almost gone and accidentally added four others to cart BUT they are really so Ashman can have evening tea with me when it gets cold that’s my story and I am sticking to it.)
Ha ha thanks for the enablement, ladies! ;) Also, obviously I need to know where you ordered from, ashmanra?!
Simpson & Vail is relatively cheap compared to some other loose leaf companies so I think you’re actually SAVING money by placing this order!
Meh, it tastes like a health tea. There are millions of ingredients, so it’s pretty muddled. The licorice is pleasant, but it’s otherwise savory. It tastes sort of like garlic or tulsi. It’s not very enjoyable. I always try every herbal tea in a TTB, but I definitely could have skipped this one.
